Your notes stay yours.
Open a folder of markdown files and see how they connect — links, backlinks, tags, and the notes you started writing towards but never wrote.
The folder does not leave this device
Your files are read by the browser and kept in this tab. Nothing is uploaded. There is no server storage for vault contents on this site — not disabled, not configured yet: there is none.
You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's network panel and watch while you load a folder.

What is in there
Notes you started towards
These are links that point at a note you have not written. They are not errors. They are the shape of what you were thinking about.

A fingerprint of the whole folder
This changes if any file changes. Keep it somewhere and you can tell later whether the folder is the same one.
It does not stop anything being changed. It only makes an accidental change show up. Someone who can edit your files can edit this too.
